Description

Sizes 4-1/2" thru 16" Now available from only $26.95 each!

Professional quality diamond blades for a variety of applications including sheet metal, metal plating, rebar, steel bar, angle iron, ductile iron even stainless steel. Also excellent for cutting pvc pipe. Commonly used by fire departments for cutting steel doors and window bars. Diamond Extreme blades last over 100X longer than abrasive wheels while producing an even cutting depth with fewer sparks and a superior level of safety. GE Superabrasive diamonds are vacuum brazed (the strongest bond available) to a steel core making the blade virtually shatterproof.

  • Diamond Extreme blades last over 100X longer than abrasive wheels.
  • Heat-treated high-speed steel cores dissipates heat and minimizes the risk of breaking or warping.
  • Diamond blades provide a constant depth of cut throughout the tool life.
  • Use on most cut-off saws, chop saws, circular saws and hand grinders.
  • Diamond grit size is 30/40.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

All diamond tool products including blades, coring bits, hole saws and grinding wheels include a limited lifetime warranty against warping, cracking and material defects. If any diamond tool (being used for its intended purpose with at least 50% of the diamond life remaining) fails to cut or work properly, or if the bond between the diamond segment and the steel core becomes separated at any time, the tool may be replaced free of charge.

FAQs About Saw Blade RPMs

Why is it important to follow the recommended RPM?

Following the recommended saw blade RPM ensures the blade operates at optimal cutting speed, minimizes wear, and reduces the risk of damage to the blade or equipment.

What happens if I exceed the maximum RPM for a diamond blade?

Exceeding the maximum RPM can cause the blade to overheat, warp, or even break, potentially leading to unsafe working conditions.

What does SFPM mean in the chart footnote?

SFPM stands for Surface Feet Per Minute. It measures the speed at which the blade’s edge moves through the material being cut. The chart is based on a standard of 9,500 SFPM for optimal performance.

How do I determine the correct RPM for my saw and blade?

Match the blade diameter with the corresponding RPM values in the chart. Use the recommended RPM as a guide for safe and efficient cutting.

Can I use a blade at a lower RPM than recommended?

Using a blade at a significantly lower RPM than recommended can reduce cutting efficiency and may result in uneven cuts or slower performance.
