Cougar X Wide Concrete Saw Blades are perfect for cutting grooves for traffic loops, drainage slots, detector loops on factory floors, or burying power or gas lines. Made with high-quality GE Super-abrasive diamonds. They will cut cured concrete, reinforced concrete with rebar, asphalt, green concrete, stone, and masonry. The heat-treated cores dissipate heat and will withstand the demands of making wider cuts. Cougar X Diamond Blades provide outstanding cutting performance and reliability at a low cost.
Great for combo-cutting cured concrete, reinforced concrete with rebar, asphalt, green concrete, stone, and more.
Varying thicknesses from .125 (1/8") to .750 (3/4").
Use .235 wide blade to precut for a ring saw or chain saw.
Use the Anaconda X wide asphalt diamond blade for better performance while cutting asphalt and green concrete.
NOTE: Select sizes are made to order. Please allow 3-5 business days for production. Call 800-618-5000 to confirm availability.

FAQs About Saw Blade RPMs
Why is it important to follow the recommended RPM?
Following the recommended saw blade RPM ensures the blade operates at optimal cutting speed, minimizes wear, and reduces the risk of damage to the blade or equipment.
What happens if I exceed the maximum RPM for a diamond blade?
Exceeding the maximum RPM can cause the blade to overheat, warp, or even break, potentially leading to unsafe working conditions.
What does SFPM mean in the chart footnote?
SFPM stands for Surface Feet Per Minute. It measures the speed at which the blade’s edge moves through the material being cut. The chart is based on a standard of 9,500 SFPM for optimal performance.
How do I determine the correct RPM for my saw and blade?
Match the blade diameter with the corresponding RPM values in the chart. Use the recommended RPM as a guide for safe and efficient cutting.
Can I use a blade at a lower RPM than recommended?
Using a blade at a significantly lower RPM than recommended can reduce cutting efficiency and may result in uneven cuts or slower performance.

The blades did not hold up compared to Dixie Diamond blades. Lasted 2 full days and then they were done. Dixie blades last a week.
Not sure it worked fine until it got down into the rebar then it started bucking up and down and chipping the concrete groove we were trying to make into an expansion joint groove. We only cut down 1” at a time even though we were told 2” should be fine. We used it for less than 1 hour and had to stop because of the bucking it was doing and the chipping it was doing to the top of the groove. We are having to switch to making the expansion joint with grinders now. Is there any way we could return it and get some percentage of a refund?
Sincerely,

I was wondering if I chose the model with the most diamonds in the blade. It just looks like way less diamonds than usual. I’m doing this work very very long time. I’m just not getting the longevity out of these blades than what I used to. But I will say I was paying more 8-12 years ago for same size blade but back then they would brag how much diamonds were contained and had levels affordable to over 1000 for exact same size blade just the level amount of diamonds added to teeth was way more.
Excellent Product! We used it to place a track into a concrete floor for a robot to follow on a dairy farm. This blade worked perfectly, with tons of life left in it. Shipping was extremely fast.
